An exhibition was held on the occasion of 85th death anniversary of Allama Muhammad Iqbal, the national poet of Pakistan by Lahore Museum, Lahore with the collaboration of Allama Iqbal Stamps Society from April 27, 2023 to May 11, 2023. In this exhibition, the personal philatelic collection on Allama Iqbal by Mian Sajid Ali (Chairman - Allama Iqbal Stamps Society) including postage stamps, post marks, aerogrammes, first day covers, printed envelopes, Iqbal memorial funds tickets, commemorative coins, bank notes with the collection by Lahore Museum including first editions of Iqbal's books, newspapers of Inquilab, paintings, calligraphy, letters etc. exhibited. The formal inauguration by Justice (R) Nasira Javid Iqbal at 6:45 P.M. on April 27, 2023. She visited the exhibition with Muhammad Usman (Director - Lahore Museum) and Mian Sajid Ali (Chairman - Allama Iqbal Stamps Society). After her visit the proper program was arranged at Pak-China Gallery at Lahore Museum where Muhammad Usman, Mian Sajid Ali and Justice (R) Nasira Javid Iqbal addressed the audience. After the speeches Dr. Khalid Saeed performed Kalam-e-Iqbal on harmonium. On the end, the director of Lahore Museum, Muhmmad Usman presented the souvenir shields to the chief guests.
