Life Time Achievement Award 2022

Allama Iqbal Stamps Society organized Iqbal Kitab Award 2021-22 for the promotion of Iqbal's thought and appreciation for the writers of Literature of Iqbal Studies. This competition is the first ever which organized by any non-government level. The competition was announced in August 2022. We received 18 books which was the good response as usual. 16 books received in Urdu, 1 book in Khowar and 1 book in Danish. So, the three categories defined for three languages. The detail of the books which received to Allama Iqbal Stamps Society is as follows:

Above list of the books which received, three books got Iqbal Kitab Award 2021-22. In Urdu Category, the book "کلامِ اقبال میں مابعدالطبیعیاتی اور صوفیانہ عناصر" by Dr. Arooba Masroor Siddiqui, in local languages category, the book "فکرِ اقبال" in Khowar by Dr. Rehmat Aziz Chitrali and in international category, the book "Menneskets Mode Med Engle I Iqbal Poesi" in Danish by Khurram Ellahi got Iqbal Kitab Award. The judges of the competition were Dr. Rafi-ud-Din Hashmi, Dr. Shafiq Ajmi, Dr. M. Abrar and Dr. Zaib-un-Nisa Saroya.

The prize distribution ceremony was held at Dabistan-i-Iqbal, Lahore with the sponsored by Berger Paints Pakistan Limited on November 26, 2022. The honourable chief guest of the event as Justice (R) Nasira Javid Iqbal. Chairman - Allama Iqbal Stamps Society, Mian Sajid Ali and Warda Nayab hosted the event. Mujtaba Khalid recited the Kalam-i-Iqbal. 

On this occasion, Allama Iqbal Stamps Society announced "Life Time Achievement Award". This award is the first ever award which introduced by a non-government organization. This award was given to Dr. Haroon-ur-Rashid Tabassum.
