On the occasion of World Post Day, a philatelic exhibition was held at General Post Office (G.P.O.), Lahore. This day is also known as UPU (Univeral Postal Union) day. A ceremony was also held by the staff of Pakistan Post. The inauguration ceremony was held on 10:00 A.M. in morning. After that the chief guest Mr. Aslam Khan Nizai - Deputy Post Master General (Punjab Region) was hosted UPU flag. Then he inaugurated the philatelic exhibition which was displayed in the Service Hall of G.P.O. Four philatelists from Lahore displayed their philatelic collections. This detail is as Pakistan Postal Stationary by Jamil Ahmed, Pakistani Flag by Wahid Zia, UPU Day by Mian Musa Wattoo and Allama Iqbal by Mian Sajid Ali. Pakistan Post presented souvenir shields to the philatelists also.
