Asrar-i-Khudi Art Exhibition

On the occasion of 100 Years of Allama Iqbal's first poetry book "Asrar-i-Khudi" (1915-2015) and 138th Birth Anniversary of Allama Iqbal, Dabistan-e-Iqbal, Lahore organized an exhibition called 'Asrar-i-Khudi Art Exhibition' from November 6-14, 2015 at Alhamra Art Gallery, The Mall, Lahore. This exhibition included paintings, calligraphy and philatelic collection on National Poet. The event was inaugurated by Prof. Dr. Shahida Manzoor (Principal - College of Art & Design, University of the Punjab, Lahore) on 15:30 in the evening on first day of the event. The paintings and calligraphic work done by the students of different colleges and universities of Lahore while philatelic collection on Allama Iqbal was displayed by Mian Sajid Ali (Chairman - Allama Iqbal Stamps Society). On the first day of this occasion, Mian Sajid Ali's first book published and displayed for the sale. The book named "Muntashir Khayalat-e-Iqbal" which was the Urdu translation of Allama Iqbal's personal diary 'Stray Reflections'. On November 10, 2015, Dabistan-e-Iqbal organized Asrar-i-Khudi Youth Conference at Hall # 2 of Alhamra Arts Council. The guest of honour was Dr. Rukhsana David (Principal - Kinnaird College, Lahore) on Youth Conference. The other honourable guests were Prof. Dr. Uzma Qureshi (Vice Chancellor - Lahore College for Women University, Lahore) and Mian Yousaf Salahuddin (grandson of Allama Iqbal). Students of different educational institutions were delivered their speeches on the topic of Khudi. Hina Nasrullah sang Kalam-e-Iqbal. At the end, the prize distribution ceremony was held. On November 10, 2015, the second book of Mian Sajid Ali named "Naqsh-o-Nigar-e-Iqbal" was published.

Mian Sajid Ali's first book "Muntashir Khayalat-e-Iqbal" is the Urdu translation of Allama Iqbal's personal diary 'Stray Reflections'. This book was compiled by Dr. Javid Iqbal. Its preface was written by Dr. Abdul Khaliq. The original handwriting of Allama Iqbal's script is also included. This book came in public on Asrar-i-Khudi Art Exhibition's first day on November 6, 2015.

Mian Sajid Ali's second book "Naqsh-o-Nigar-e-Iqbal" is the book in which all postage stamps, commemorative coins, currency notes & Iqbal memorial fund stamps cover with salient feature on Allama Iqbal. This book came in public on Asrar-i-Khudi Youth Conference which is the part of this exhibition on November 10, 2015.
