Essay Writing Competition as

"علامہ اقبال اور عشقِ مصطفیٰ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم"

Allama Iqbal Stamps Society organized two competitions for the promotion of Allama Iqbal's thought. First, an essay writing competition which titled as "Allama Iqbal Aur Ishq-e-Mustafa (P.B.U.H.)" and second was "Iqbal Kitab Award for 2018-19". These two competitions were announced through social and print media in August 2019. The last date for books competition was October 1, 2019 meanwhile October 15, 2019 for essay writing competition. We received total 11 books which published on Iqbal's thought and his personality. The detail of the books are as follows:

اقبال: اہلِ بیت کے حضور از تفاخر محمود گوندل

دو قلندر گفت: رحمان و اقبال کی فکری یکسانیت از حمید ہاتف

در برگِ لالہ و گل: کلامِ اقبال میں مطالعۂ نباتات (حصہ دوم) از افضل رضوی

اُستاد کا احترام: اقبال کہانی از محمد نوید مرزا

لوح و قلم: اقبال کہانی از محمد نوید مرزا

مباحث خطباتِ اقبال: تشریحات کے ساتھ از پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد عارف خان

خودی: قرآن فہمی کا ایک ضابطہ از پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد عارف خان

بیانِ اقبال: فکرِ اقبال کا توضیحی بیان مرتبہ حمیرا جمیل

شرح بانگِ درا شارح حمیرا جمیل

ذکرِ زن: علامہ محمد اقبال کے کلام میں خواتین کا تذکرہ از ڈاکٹر حمیرا شہباز

اقبال: بچوں اور نوجوانوں کے لیے از عنایت علی

In the above list, a book written by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Arif Khan as "Mubahis Khutbat-e-Iqbal (Tashrihaat Kay Saath) got Iqbal Kitab Award for 2018-19. The other competition, we received 36 essays from all over the country. The top five winners of the competition are as follows:

1) Dr. Rozeena Anjum Naqvi (Bahawalpur)

2) Dr. Yasmin Kausar (Lahore)

3) Arslanullah Khan (Hyderabad)

4) Amber Yasin (Jampur)

5) Ghazala Anjum (Burewala)

The name of judges for the competitions were as follows:

2) Prof. Dr. Javed Iqbal Nadeem

3) Prof. Dr. Muhammad Akram Al-Asadi

4) Ijaz ul Haq Ijaz

The prize distribution ceremony was held for above competitions at Dabistan-i-Iqbal, Lahore on November 23, 2019. The Chief Guest for the event was Justice (R) Nasira Javid Iqbal. Mian Sajid Ali and Samaviya Waris were the host while Mujtaba Khalid recited Kalam-e-Iqbal. On that occasion Allama Iqbal Stamps Society announced "Life Time Achievement Award". This award is the first of its kind in the history of Iqbaliyat. This award was given to 'Ameer Hussain'. His contribution on more than 60 years for the promotion of Kalam-e-Iqbal.

Shumaila Tanveer is receiving certificate on behalf of Dr. Rozina Anjum Naqvi.

Muhammad Naveed Mirza receiving his prizes. His two books were included in the competition.

Justice (R) Nasira Javid Iqbal is awarded Iqbal Kitab Award to Prof. Dr. Muhammad Arif Khan for his book "Mubahis Khutbat-e-Iqbal (Tashrihaat Kay Saath)".
