The Department of Urdu and Persian of Govt. Degree College for Women, Mustafabad (Dharampura), Lahore organized Iqbal Day Celebrations on his 138th Birth Anniversary. The main function was held at the main hall of the campus. The 11th Allama Iqbal Stamp Show was held on this event with the collaboration of Khana-e-Farhang Jamhuri Islami Iran, Lahore. The event was inaugurated by Munib Iqbal (Vice President - Iqbal Academy Pakistan) with Akbar Barkhordari (Director - Khana-e-Farhang Jamhuri Islami Iran, Lahore) in the morning. Just after the inauguration the chief guests visited the 11th Allama Iqbal Stamp Show and book stall of Iqbal Academy Pakistan. The faculty and students of the campus showed their keen interest in the stamp exhibition. After that the main program of Iqbal Day was held at main hall of the college. Students recited the poetical verses and couplets of Allama Iqbal and performed tablo on the poetry of National Poet. At the end of the program, Fateha paid to the rested soul of Dr. Javid Iqbal.
