To commemorate the both founders of Pakistan, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Allama Muhammad Iqbal, The University of Faisalabad, organized the two days activities at their both campuses on December 26 - 27, 2012. 6th Allama Iqbal Stamp Show - 2012 was held there in collaboration with Allama Iqbal Stamps Society. The title of the exhibition was "Significant Events in the Life of Allama Muhammad Iqbal". On this occasion, Allama Iqbal Stamps Society displayed the philatelic collection on National Poet and Father of the Nation. On the first day, the philatelic collection on Jinnah and Iqbal displayed at the Saleem Campus, Sargodha Road for the female students on December 26, 2012. The 6th Allama Iqbal Stamp Show - 2012 was inaugurated at female campus by Dr. Faqir Hussain  (Director Coordinator of The University of Faisalabad) just after the programme on Quaid's birth celebrations in the auditorium of the institute. Just after the opening ceremony the huge number of female students visited the stamp exhibition till end of the day. On the second day, the stamp exhibition was held at Amin Campus, West Canal Road for the male students on December 27, 2012. Here the event was inaugurated by Dr. Abdul Karim, PRO-Rector of the University. At here also a programme arranged on Quaid's birthday. A large number of boys visited the stamp exhibition. The students of both campuses showed their interest in the stamps and other collections on founders of Pakistan. A large number of students of the university filled the membership forms of Allama Iqbal Stamps Society. On the second day, Dr. Abdul Karim, the PRO-Rector of The University of Faisalabad, presented a souvenir to Mian Sajid Ali on successful stamp exhibition. This is the first time when any stamp show by Allama Iqbal Stamps Society held outside the Lahore. This was also the first stamp exhibition of any kind in the educational institute of Faisalabad. The philatelic collection on Jinnah and Iqbal first time displayed by Allama Iqbal Stamps Society at the same event. The philatelic collection and letters of Allama Iqbal displayed in 7 frames while the philatelic collection on Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah displayed on the tables.
