In exercise of the power conferred by section 6 of the Pakistan Coinage Act (III of 1906), the Federal Government is pleased to determine that commemorative gold coins of the denomination of 500 Rupees and the silver coins of denomination of 100 Rupees to be coined for the issue under the authority of Federal Government on the occasion of the 100th birth anniversary of Allama Muhammad Iqbal shall confirm to the following dimensions, design and composition, namely: [see these details below of each coin].

In exercise of the power conferred by section 21 of the Pakistan Coinage Act (III of 1906), read with section 7 thereof, the Federal Government is pleased to make the following rule, namely:- The standard weight of the commemorative gold and silver coins of the denomination of 500 Rupees and 100 Rupees respectively to be coined under the provision of section 6 of the said Act for issue on the occasion of the 100th birth anniversary of Allama Muhammad Iqbal, and the remedy allowed in the making of the said coins shall be as specified below: [see weight tolerance details below for each coin].
