Allama Iqbal Photographic and Stamps Exhibition with the title of “Hayat-e-Iqbal Tasveeron Mein” held on April 21-30, 2010 at Lahore City Heritage Museum, The Mall, Lahore. This event was held on the occasion of 73rd death anniversary of Allama Muhammad Iqbal. This was the photographic show on the life of Allama Iqbal. More than 300 pictures on Allama Iqbal and his life displayed on the wall. The stamps, other postal stationary, coins, currency notes and 2 medals of Government of Pakistan on which PAF’s (Pakistan Air Force) logo was made which show the verse of Piyam-e-Mashriq included Tamgha-i-Jang 1971 and Tamgha-i-Isteqlal 2002 for display. This stamp exhibition displayed in the displaying tables. Photos of Allama Iqbal were displayed by Loh Kot and stamps were displayed by Mian Sajid Ali. Mr. Munib Iqbal (Grandson of Allama Iqbal) was the chief guest of the event. Mr. Suheyl Umar (Director – Iqbal Academy Pakistan) also visited the exhibition. The 10 days event which was attracted the crowd of all ages especially to students of the surrounding educational institutes.
