Life Time Achievement Award - 2021

Allama Iqbal Stamps Society organized Iqbal Kitab Award 2020-21 for the promotion of Iqbal's thought and appreciation for the writers of Literature of Iqbal Studies. This competition is the first ever which organized by any non-government level. The competition was announced in August 2021. We received 26 books which was the good response as compare to last two events. 25 books received in Urdu and 1 was received in Punjabi language. So, the two categories defined for both languages, one award for Urdu books and second for Punjabi book. The detail of the books which received to Allama Iqbal Stamps Society is as follows:

Above list of the books which received, two books got Iqbal Kitab Award 2020-21. In Urdu category, the book "کمالِ اقبال اور اکیسویں صدی" by Dr. Muhammad Arif Khan got Iqbal Kitab Award 2020-21 while in Punjabi category, the book "بالاں لئی اقبال" by Dr. Haroon-ul-Rashid Tabassum got Iqbal Kitab Award 2020-21. The judges whom appointed are Dr. Abdul Khaliq, Dr. Sa'adat Saeed, Dr. Muhammad Arshad Ovaisi and Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed Azmi.

The prize distribution ceremony was held at Dabistan-i-Iqbal, Lahore with the collaboration of Berger Paints Pakistan Limited on November 27, 2021. The honourable chief guest of the event was Justice (R) Nasira Javid Iqbal. Chairman - Allama Iqbal Stamps Society, Mian Sajid Ali and Samaviya Waris hosted the event. Syed Talha Shah recited the verses of Holy Quran while Mujtaba Khalid recited Kalam-e-Iqbal. On this occasion, Allama Iqbal Stamps Society announced "Life Time Achievement Award". This award is the first ever award in Iqbaliyat. This award was given to Dr. Rafi-ud-Din Hashmi.
