Life Time Achievement - 2020
Allama Iqbal Stamps Society organized Iqbal Kitab Award 2019-20 for the promotion of Iqbal's thought and appreciation for the writer of Literature of Iqbaliyat. This competition is the first ever which organized any non-government level. The competition was announced through social media. We received 19 books which is very good response from the writers. Meanwhile we received 11 books in last year. 18 books were in Urdu and 1 was in English. So, the two categories defined for both languages, one award for Urdu books and one for English. The detail of the books which we received as follows:

Iqbal and the Sages of the East by Prof. Dr. Waheed uz Zaman Tariq
In the above list, two books were got Iqbal Kitab Award 2019-20. In Urdu category, the book "اقبال اور شیکسپئیر" by Muhammad Ijaz ul Haq got Iqbal Kitab Award while in English category, the book "Iqbal and the Sages of the East" by Prof. Dr. Waheed uz Zaman Tariq got Iqbal Kitab Award. The judges of the competition were Dr. Najeeb Jamal, Dr. Tahir Hameed Tanoli, Dr. Muhammad Naeem Bazmi and Dr. Mehmood Ali Anjum.
The prize distribution ceremony was held at Dabistan-i-Iqbal, Lahore with the collaboration of Allama Iqbal Stamps Society and Berger Paints Pakistan Limited on November 28, 2020. The honourable chief guest of the event was Justice (R) Nasira Javid Iqbal. Chaiman - Allama Iqbal Stamps Society, Mian Sajid Ali and Zohaa Tanveer were the host. Mujtaba Khalid recited Kalam-i-Iqbal. On this occasion, Allama Iqbal Stamps Society announced "Life Time Achievement Award". This award is the first ever award in the field of Iqbaliyat. This award was given to 'Muhammad Iqbal Balam'. His contribution is more than 30 years to spread the Kalam-i-Iqbal.
