For the promotion of Allama Iqbal's thought and his personality, Department of Iqbal Studies, Allama Iqbal Open University, Islamabad organized a two-day international conference at her main campus in Islamabad on April 24-25, 2019. This event was an unforgettable and remarkable activity where some international reputed Iqbal scholars came from different countries. The inauguration of the occasion was held on April 24, 2019 by Dr. Zia-ul-Qayyum (Vice Chancellor of Allama Iqbal Open University). Mian Sajid Ali (Chairman - Allama Iqbal Stamps Society & student of M.Phil - Iqbal Studies) presented his research paper on the second day of the conference in the presence of Dr. Shahid Ahmed Siddiqui (Former Vice Chancellor of Allama Iqbal Open University) and Dr. Samina Awan (Dean of Department of Iqbal Studies). The topic of the research paper was as "Pak China Iqtisadi Soorat-e-Haal Aur Fikar-e-Iqbal".
