Lahore College for Women University (LCWU), Lahore organized Iqbal Day Celebrations on 137th Birth Anniversary of Allama Iqbal at Hockey Ground of the campus. Allama Iqbal Stamps Society arranged 10th Allama Iqbal Stamp Show - 2014 with the collaboration of Urdu Literary Society of LCWU on November 12, 2014. The event was inaugurated by Mr. Munib Iqbal (Grandson of Allama Iqbal) with Mr. Hanif Shahid (Director - Bazm-e-Iqbal, Lahore) and Professor Dr. Sabiha Mansoor (Vice Chancellor of Lahore College for Women University) in morning. Just after the inauguration chief guests visited stamp exhibition of Allama Iqbal. Mian Sajid Ali (Chairman - Allama Iqbal Stamps Society) brief them. They showed their keen interest in the philatelic collection on national poet. All the day the students of the educational institute showed their interest in the stamp exhibition. Students recited the poetical verses and couplets of Allama Iqbal. Mian Sajid Ali addressed to the crowd and highlighted the activities of Allama Iqbal Stamps Society. For the students, Iqbal Academy Pakistan, Lahore arranged their publications stall.
